Gone Fishing

Looking for Janie's ME Website? Sorry, but it's gone fishing - maybe temporarily, or maybe permanently. It was seriously out of date and, perversely, now that I have slightly more energy I also have less time to update. I felt that taking it down was the best option as there is much more current information out on the web now.

If you want my advice, read, read, and read, with an open mind, but a sceptical eye, and try the therapies that seem logical to you. Beware of "miracle cures". If there was a cure for ME, we'd all know about it. Eventually, most of us hit on some pill or potion that helps with some of the symptoms, but since we all have slightly different symptom profiles, what works for me may not work for you.

If you're looking for contact with other people with ME, take a trip along to http://www.upscm.co.uk , which is the website of the newsgroup uk.people.support.cfs-me. There is a lot of good information on the site, including how to join up for the newsgroup, where you can socialise with other people with ME/CFS, and ask questions.
